Growing up in the Midwest has brought Gary close to the subjects he portrays on film. Since his arrival into the field of nature photography, he has taken on a growing reputation, with publications, awards and showings, as one of the premiere wildlife and nature photographers around. Born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa, Gary's interest in the maintanence and preservation of nature's beauty and delicate surroundings is attributed to the upbringing by his late father, who spent endless hours with him in the outdoors.Now, Gary shows his appreciation by
preserving the beauty of nature on film. Gary received his diploma from The New York Institute of Photography which he attributes a great deal of his success. But to truly capture his best images, you will find him in the outdoors close to his subjects.
